SICAM SAS is equipped with an interface to WinCC,
which is the Human Machine Interface (HMI) of the SICAM system. WinCC
is the link between the operator and the computer-supported telecontrol
and station control system. SICAM WinCC permits to graphically present
and log the network status at any time. The integrated archiving system
makes available events which took place in past time ranges for specific
evaluations at any time.
For efficient substation operation, a large number of individual data
are displayed quickly and clearly. The operator terminal comprises in
standard configuration a monitor, a standard keyboard, a mouse and optionally
a printer. The monitor serves on the one hand to display all process states
(such as for example plant status, measured values or metered values)
and on the other hand in combination with keyboard and mouse to carry
out switching actions. In addition, SICAM WinCC also archives all essential
data of the substation and makes them available to the user in the form
of curves or tables for the purpose of evaluation.
The following data can be evaluated:
- Events
- Protection indications
- Measured values
- Metered values
In addition to display and evaluation with SICAM WinCC directly in the
substation, the user can also access the substation from the office via
modem or LAN/WAN links (optional). The printer can print out all events
on paper, both in page form or also line-by -line (daily operations log).
In the same way, it is possible to document the current substation state
by means of hard copy. SICAM WinCC is the visualization system for SICAM
SAS based on the SIMATIC WinCC open visualization system.
Function Overview
- Run-time and generation system; graphic system: for visualization
and operation at discretion.
- Message management system, archiving: for event capturing and archiving
in compliance with DIN 19235
- Reporting and logging system: for time- and event-controlled project
documentation with a freely designable layout
- In addition to the access to process and operational data via ODBC,
SQL and DDE, it also supports function realization by means of the C
high-level language.
- Tooltips in the run-time system ensure ease of operation.
Further options:
- User Administration: Each operator gets its individual authorization.
Functions, such as message acknowledgement, switching authorization
or display selection, can be inhibited or released for users.
- Design: WinCC can either be used as a single-user system or as multi-user
system in internetworked client-server configurations. During the operation
in a multi-user system, the operator terminals are automatically coordinated
between each other, e.g. with regard to message acknowledgement.
- Open interfaces: The open interfaces provide an optimum basis for
the completion of individual user solutions.
Options: Server, chip -card reader, storage, etc.
Configuration: Maximally 2 SICAM WinCC servers with different numbers
of indications can be connected to a SICAM Substation Controller.
SICAM Components
Numerous wizards support project configuration. As configuration aids,
they help to perform frequently recurring tasks quickly and without errors.
- The Import SICAM Variables wizard serves for accepting information
from SICAM plusTOOLS to SICAM WinCC. Information stored in the SICAM
plusTOOLS under SICAM WinCC can be visualized in this way. This means
that it can be used in process diagrams. Data consistency can be ensured
and engineering expenditure can be minimized.
- The Create SICAM Message System wizard serves for creating a message
management system under SICAM WinCC. This system has comply with the
requirements to a SICAM system. The SICAM message management system
consists of the following templates:
- Event list
- Alarm list
- Protection message
list
Message blocks, message window templates, message line formats, message
classes, message sequence reports, layouts and texts count among this.
- The Create SICAM Archives can also be used to create an archiving
system under SICAM WinCC. The SICAM WinCC archiving system consists
of the following archives:
- Sequence archive
for measured values
- Sequence archive
for counter values
Counter-value and measured-value variables can be imported from the
SICAM plusTOOLS into this archiving system.
- The Import Library is for loading the SICAM symbol library into the
current project.
- SICAM WinCC Symbol Library: The SICAM symbol library comprises operational
equipment typical of station controlling (switchgears, bay devices,
transforms and patterns of bay representations). It serves for creating
station diagrams. The symbol library contains several symbols typical
of each device, so-called user objects for isolators and circuit breakers
in order to reduce parameterization efforts to a minimum. The symbols
stored in the library are placed in a station diagram via Drag and Drop.
The symbols already comprise the dynamizing function. For example, a
circuit breaker comprises all dynamizing functions required to represent
the ON, OFF, DISTURBED, Not Current, Link Failed process statuses as
well as status changes. In this case, those display symbols which will
in the future exist as standard in all SIPROTEC 4 bay devices have already
been optimized with regard to ergonomic aspects, taking the possibilities
provided by a PC into account (resolution, color, etc). This ensures
operational homogeneity both on the bay and the station level.
- SICAM Valpro
(Measured/Metered Value Processing Unit) is a SICAM WinCC component
for processing, representing and printing of archived measured and
counter values. To do this, it is possible to apply processing functions
to the archived measured and counter values without changing the original
archive contents. As only the original values need to be archived
and as the processing function is defined after the archiving procedure,
the archive size is reduced to a minimum, thus allowing high flexibility
with regard to evaluation. The minimum, maximum, average values, the
sum (for counter values) and the performance factor are available
as processing functions. The related calculation interval can be adjusted.
All values are represented in tabular and in curve form. The colors,
the line types and the time range can be adjusted.
-
Ergonomic design: Uniform and ergonomic symbols, same operation/look&feel
as on the bay level, clearly structured display arrangement, event
and alarm lists, etc.: All these components ensure that the operator
has the intuitive feel of his station - thanks to SICAM WinCC.
-
SICAM WinCC Message Management System: The WinCC alarm logging combined
with the S7 PMC package is the basis of the SICAM WinCC message management
system. In this context, it is ensured that no message is lost and
that all messages are processed in chronological order. The SICAM
SAS transmits the messages with time stamp (1ms resolution) and additional
information to the SICAM WinCC. Thanks to the time stamp, the messages
can be reported and archived chronologically in WinCC:
> Value,
> Source,
> Additional source,
> Additional information,
> Status,
> etc.
-
Message classes:
The wizard creates a number of message classes and makes them available
by standard, e.g.
> Message
> Message with
acknowledgement
> Message with
acknowledgement on appearing
> Protection messages
SICAM WinCC processing functions: The SICAM WinCC processing functions
complement the SIMATIC WinCC function library. The following processing
functions are realized: Pulse, persistent, metered-value restorage,
scheduled value commands 8 and 16 Bit, percent value, sum, instantaneous
minimum, maximum and average value, switching-cycle counter. (E.g.
a switching cycle counter: This function counts the switching changes
of a switch. The counter can be set to zero by means of the Reset
operating mode.)
-
Clock Synchronization: As a rule, the clock master (SICAM SAS) transmits
time messages to the SICAM WinCC PC parameterized as time slave. In
this way, the PC clock is synchronized to the SICAM SAS clock.
-
SICAM WinCC Help (inclusive of scripts for measured-/counter-value
processing)
-
Standards: The SICAM WinCC was created according to the ISO 9001
quality directives.
