In order to free specialists from the tedious task of analyzing system disturbances and much of the data that is relevant to power quality, we offer SICARO PQ (Siemens Computer Aided Resource Optimization for Power Quality) - an automation program for the statistical evaluation of the measured data of quality recorders. It allows communication with SIMEAS R and SIMEAS Q quality recorders, stores their information in a database and performs continuous analysis of faults and power system quality all completely automatically. An extra advantage of the software is that it is also available with a networking capability, i.e. employing Client-Server architecture. This means that managing a large number of devices is a relatively simple matter even when they are scattered throughout distribution systems that cover a wide area. You get a detailed log of power supply quality, even for the most complex of systems covering several voltage levels, which even a layman will be able to understand.

With SICARO PQ you can

• Check the power quality based on standards EN 50160, IEC 61000-2-2 and IEC 61000-2-4 as well as self-defined criteria.
  
• Define the relevant characteristics to be included in the statistical evaluation for each feeder point of your station.
  
• Archive the results, and display/print out in self-defined reports.
  
• Automatically evaluate measured data.
  

In order to automatically evaluate measured data, SICARO PQ is equipped with an interface to OSCOP P. The following quality characteristics are taken into account when evaluating measured data:
