Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive maintenance on EV chargers across multiple sites to ensure optimal functionality
  • Identify, diagnose, and report faults found during maintenance to enable timely repairs
  • Update firmware and software on charging stations to maintain up-to-date system performance

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on EV chargers across multiple sites in Singapore

        • Coordinate with clients, consultants, OEMs, and system integrators during Factory Acceptae Tests (FAT) for protection panels / SAS systems, Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Protection testing, relay configuration, commissioning, system energisation and integncration with existing substations
        • Oversees all project execution plans, milestone schedules, and short-interval look-ahead plans.
        • Track progress across, engineering (relay schemes, SLD, wiring, logic diagrams), procurement (IEDs, panels, RTUs, communication equipment), configuration (IEC 61850 SCL files, relay settings), installation (panel erection, wiring, integration), testing and commissioning, implement recovery actions and escalation where delays occur.
        • Track costs against approved budgets and support cost-to-complete forecasting.
        • Prepare supporting documents for invoices and progress claims, variations / change orders, subcontractor claims (testing teams, system integrators, panel builders), Ensure project profitability and cash flow, and escalate risks relating to margin, contract compliance, and delivery scope.
        • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, OEM suppliers, system integrators, and internal stakeholders. Lead coordination meetings, provide regular progress updates, and manage client expectations effectively.
        • Support management in technical clarifications, contract negotiations , issue resolution and dispute management
        • Maintain a project risk register and ensure mitigation actions are implemented

        Summary of role:

        We are seeking a driven Sales Engineer to promote and sell protection relays and switchgear solutions to clients in the utilities sector.  You will work closely with engineers, consultants, and procurement teams to provide technically sound and cost-effective solutions.

        Required competencies and certifications:

        • Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering.
        • Candidates with technical sales experience in the utilities or power industry are preferred.

This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhering to the highest safety and quality standards, and meeting all client specifications. These individual leads and coordinates cross-functional teams involved in sales handover, engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning. 

        Required competencies and certifications:

        • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field is required.
        • Project Management Professional or equivalent certification is highly advantageous.
        • Minimum 5–8 years in electrical infrastructure projects and 3-5 years in a project management or project engineer capacity.
        • Demonstrated experience in one or more switchgear/transformer projects involving 6.6kV / 22kV / 66kV / 230kV / 400kV switchgear (air insulated or gas insulated) / transformer; Singapore market experience (Especially SPPG pink pass holder) is strongly preferred.
        • Strong working knowledge of project planning and scheduling, progress reporting, cost tracking and project documentation and FAT/SAT coordination.
        • Familiarity with Singapore electrical safety practices, codes, WSH requirements and safety regulations.
        • Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
            Responsibilities:
            • Engineering & Technical Coordination: Support HV/MV switchgear/transformer projects from engineering phase through to commissioning and handover. Review and coordinate technical deliverables including single line diagrams, drawings, wiring diagrams, protection interface drawings, and equipment datasheets. Coordinate technical interfaces between switchgear, protection relays, SCADA/RTU, and auxiliary systems.
            • Design Review & Compliance: Review OEM technical documents and ensure compliance with project specifications, IEC standards, and Singapore utility requirements (e.g., SP Group standards where applicable). Support technical clarifications with clients, consultants, and OEMs during design and execution stages.
            • Procurement Technical Support: Support procurement activities including technical evaluation of switchgear/transformer offers, review of technical deviations, clarification of scope, and coordination of spare parts, special tools, and warranty requirements. Support vendor coordination for manufacturing progress updates and documentation submission.
            • Installation & Site Support: Provide technical support to the Installation team during switchgear/transfomer erection, busbar installation, cabling, control wiring, termination, and site interface works. Support troubleshooting of site installation issues and ensure proper implementation of method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) as well as quality records.
            • Testing & Commissioning Support: Coordinate and support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and commissioning activities. Ensure required test procedures, test records, and acceptance criteria are prepared and complied with. Support coordination with HV testing teams and OEM engineers for energization readiness.
            • Quality Documentation & Handover: Support preparation and closeout of project documentation including as-built drawings, test reports, inspection records, O&M manuals, spares lists, and warranty documents. Ensure documentation is compiled in accordance with client handover requirements.
            • Safety & Compliance Support: Support compliance with company Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies, Singapore safety regulations, and client site rules. Participate in risk assessments, toolbox meetings, and ensure technical work is executed with strong safety discipline.
            • Continuous Improvement: Support development of engineering standards, templates, and lessons learned. Contribute to improvement of installation and commissioning procedures to reduce rework and improve quality.

            Job Summary:

            The Engineer (HV & MV) is responsible for supporting the engineering, technical coordination, and execution of high voltage and medium voltage switchgear/transformer projects in Singapore. This role provides technical support across the project lifecycle, including design review, engineering coordination, procurement technical clarifications, installation support, testing coordination, commissioning readiness, and final handover documentation. The Engineer works closely with Project Managers, OEMs, clients, consultants, and internal site teams to ensure switchgear systems are delivered in compliance with OEM requirements, Singapore standards, client specifications, and safety regulations.

            Required competencies and certifications:

            • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.
            • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in electrical infrastructure projects involving HV/MV switchgear.
            • Exposure to either 22kV / 6.6kV / 66kV / 230kV / 400kV transformer / switchgear (Air Insulated / Gas Insulated) and experience supporting installation, testing, and commissioning activities in Singapore (SPPG Pink Pass Holder) is strongly preferred.
            • Good working knowledge of HV/MV switchgear systems, drawings, and OEM documentation.
            • Ability to coordinate technical interfaces across protection, SCADA/RTU, and auxiliary systems.
            • Familiarity with FAT/SAT procedures and commissioning readiness requirements.
            • Strong technical writing skills for method statements, ITPs, and handover documentation.
            • Familiarity with Singapore electrical safety practices, codes, and WSH requirements.
            • Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
