SIPROTEC 7SD86

The SIPROTEC 7SD86 line differential protection is specifically designed to protect medium and high-voltage lines and perform 3-pole tripping.

Its modular structure and flexibility, coupled with the high-performing DIGSI 5 engineering tool, allows the SIPROTEC 5 7SD86 to offer future-oriented solutions for protection, control, automation, monitoring, and Power Quality (PQ) basic.

Basic Features

  • Tripping: 3-pole
  • Minimum tripping time: 9 ms
  • Main protection function is differential protection with adaptive algorithm for maximum sensitivity and stability even with the most different transformer errors, current-transformer saturation and capacitive charging currents
  • Directional backup protection and various additional functions
