SIPROTEC 7UT87

The SIPROTEC 7UT87 transformer differential protection relay is specifically designed to protect multi-winding transformers (up to 5 sides).

It is used where numerous measuring points (up to 11 3-phase current measuring points) are required. Another of its application is the simultaneous protection of two parallel transformers (additional fast backup protection). It acts as the main protection for transformers and contains many other protection and monitoring functions which can be used to provide backup protection for objects (e.g. cables, lines, shunt reactor) that need to be protected subsequently.

Its modular structure and flexibility, coupled with the high-performing DIGSI 5 engineering tool, allows the SIPROTEC 5 7UT87 to offer future-oriented solutions for protection, control, automation, monitoring, and Power Quality (PQ) basic.
