With metering recorders installed at the different accounts, the energy consumption information are regularly sent to the server end for consolidation. In prepaid configuration, the platform will be sending out reminders to the end users to conduct credits top-up in order to avoid any disruption of power supply. In the postpaid configuration, the platform will consolidate the energy consumption and provide monthly billing report for settlements.

Basic Features

• Utilises a mobile phone APP and a Consumer Display Unit (CDU) in each unit (e.g. hotel room) which is wirelessly paired to an individual meter, allowing consumers to conveniently view their electricity consumption rate in real time.
• Provides flexibility with two types of payment model: Pre-paid and Post-paid. All digital collections with enforcement are done automatically. This simplifies account management while supporting real-time reading and reducing cost of operations.
• Performs usage/theft analytics to improve demand forecasting, optimize operations, and anticipate theft. - e.g. For establishments such as hotels and hostels, tenants and guests would either: 1) purchase electricity while checking in and top up if they need more during their stay. 2) pay the electricity bill when checking out according to the amount they use.
